Our exclusive Compodisk is a composite pan acoustically matched to the concrete to be processed. The Compodisk has acoustic impedance which matches the concrete, thereby imparting its energy into the concrete mass. This causes the concrete to set from the bottom of the slab to the top while maintaining an open surface, allowing the bleed water to escape during the finishing process. This new technology of floating disk is made from a composite material.
